Consider This
When we think of God's Word, or of His love, we tend to have preconceived notions based upon what we've learned and what we desire. But, for example: what is the ultimate example of the love of the Father for His creation? It was the cross. So, if we can't understand that His love and His Word are many times far different than we think, then we'll miss out on a lot of what He wants to teach us.
