Strait Gate Education is a small ministry. As a matter of fact, in the eyes of the world, it's very small.
But God's eyesight is much different than ours.
And since we've been traveling this way for the last thirty years, I'd tend to say that there's more here than meets the eye.
We got our start when the Lord began to open things in His Word that we weren't hearing in the church; and we knew that there were most likely others who were experiencing the same thing. Consequently, the Lord brought us together with those others for a few years; and this was repeated again a little later.
Then, in 2013, we created this website as a vehicle to open up the messages to more than just the few with whom we were meeting; and it's been going steadily ever since.
You see, Strait Gate Education is just that: an educational ministry. It isn't a church in the traditional sense, nor is it a school in the traditional sense. We're not ordained ministers, nor have we graduated from any seminary; and we aren't affiliated with any renowned church. Rather, we're simply believers whose intention is to attempt to give you some food for thought from the Word of God in light of some of the teachings and traditions that exist in Christianity today.
We firmly avow that Jesus the Christ IS God, Who was born of a virgin, not of the effort and intervention of any man, but through a sovereign act of the Holy Spirit. We also firmly avow that the man Jesus was anointed with the fulness of the Holy Spirit at the Jordan River, that He lived an absolutely sinless life, and that He walked in all of the authority of the Father, doing so only through His humanity in full dependence upon the Holy Spirit as an example of what we can attain.
We firmly avow that Jesus was crucified as an atoning substitution for us, taking upon Himself the judgment that we originally deserved because of our inherent rebellion; and that He was not slain by any man, but that He willingly laid down His life at an appointed day and hour.
We also firmly avow that He took authority over Satan and death by His resurrection, and that He has ascended into the invisible heavenly realm where He waits for the time when He'll return to cleanse and restore the earth with and through His chosen sons, and then to establish the eternal Kingdom of His Father upon the restored and perfected earth.
And we firmly avow that there is no other way to come to the Father and to receive the salvation that is offered than through willing faith in, the acceptance of, and submission to, Jesus Christ; for "neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
We pray that the Spirit of the Lord will use Strait Gate Education to help you to understand some of the things that you may not have understood before this.
