Consider This
There's a fact that we need to recognize, if we haven't already: God doesn't change. He's the same today as He was before the creation, and He will eternally remain the same. There's another fact that we need to recognize as well; and that is that man always changes. Thus, it's because of man's constant fluidity that those things that God detests are accepted and promoted. So there has to be a change; and it isn't God. As a matter of fact, He continuously stresses that point throughout His Word. Therefore, if we want to be able to walk with Him, there's only one way for this to happen: we have to allow His Spirit to change us into His likeness.
