From the start the emphases of the prophecies have been upon His impending judgments, and upon whom they will fall, as well as who will deliver themselves. We need to understand that these hard words are actually His words of love to us. If it was any other way, He would have withheld His warnings. But if we desire to be delivered, we have to obey Him without reservation, and to give Him what He most desires from us: spiritual fruit. Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, and so forth. We also have to stand strong against the encroachment of the enemy, which far too many have not. Because he’s been allowed access to God’s church, and has duped many Christians into not only accepting, but also promoting, his ways, then judgment has been determined.
