Consider This

There’s something that I would say is a definite in God’s economy: rebellion brings spiritual blindness and deafness. And what we have to recognize is that there’s no middle ground; we’re either for Him, or we’re against Him. As long as we follow the Lord, we’ll be dwelling in His Kingdom of spiritual light; whereas, whenever we choose to stand against Him, we’ll find ourselves in the enemy’s kingdom of spiritual darkness and confusion. Now, we know that if we’ve accepted Jesus as our Savior, then we’ve been adopted into the Kingdom of God; and there’s virtually nothing that can pull us away from Him. We do, however, find ourselves straying from Him and succumbing to our Adamic nature. When that happens, then we feel the negative effects, which can be physical, as well as emotional and psychological; but it’s always spiritual. Until we make the decision to repent, we’ll be in a constant state of confusion, knowing what we should be doing as long as we’re failing to make that decision. But we need to make the decision to return to Him as soon as we can; because the longer we don’t, the less likely we will.
