Consider This
God has given us, as His followers, the responsibility to stand firmly for His Kingdom, while, at the same time, we have to give our support in prayer to those whom He has allowed to have authority over us. But there's something that far too many Christians fail to understand; and that's the fact that many of those are not in the position they're in because they're devoted to God. Rather, they're in those positions because they SHOULD be administering leadership. Our responsibility is to uphold them in prayer. Yet the Lord also gives us the responsibility to stand for His Kingdom first. Consequently, if there is a distinct contrast between the requirements of the earthly authorities and the authority of God, we have a decision to make.
